Goodbye skin rashes! Hello chemical-free bathing! I have intercystal cystitis and this helps me when I bathe because it takes the chlorine out of the bath making me less easily irritated - also it's actually very healthy to bathe in Vit C - so all in all this is a great choice to make sure I'm bathing in healthy water - I can't afford to get a whole house water purifier so this helps me because it takes out the chemicals that dry and irritate skin and help me feel safe from the excessive chlorination of tap water. A great choice if you are wanting softer less irritated skin.

Love these and use them regularly to balance out the chlorine etc in my bath water. Dissolves quickly, good ingredients, and am relieved to be avoiding and EBV flare up. THANK YOU!

We use these every night for bath time with my kiddos. Dissolves easily and they enjoy watching it dissolve. My kids have never had skin issues from using this product.

We installed these on a couple showers in our house. The base swivels enough that it was possible to use this with a couple of different types of shower heads (though on one we had to attach it in-line with the hose for the handheld wand instead of on the shower arm). I tested the resulting water with aquarium test trips and verified that both free chlorine at total chlorine (total chlorine includes chloramine, which is what is used to sanitize my city water) are reading 0ppm. Tap water reads 0ppm free chlorine and 3.5ppm total chlorine, so I can tell this is actually doing something. Anecdotally, it's made a difference to our hair and skin, and we can actually smell the chlorine when the vitamin C cartridge runs out (every 3-6 months at our usage rate). You can see the powder dissolving over time through the clear cartridge, but I believe there's still a bunch of vitamin C in solution when the powder runs out because we don't notice a difference in the water until a month or so after the last of it dissolves. From my research if you have a water softener loop and don't mind paying significantly more, an alternative might be a large granulated activated carbon filter at the house entrance (several cubic feet in a big backwashing tank). This seemed like clearly the best solution for a point of use filter though, and we've been very happy with it.
